I do have to level it up everytime the party levels up, but that has not proven to be a big dealįor a spellcaster sidekick that is humanoid, I would start either with an NPC "monster" statblock that comes close, or the "Caster-Healer" or "Caster-Mage" level 1 sidekick statblocks if you have Dragon of Icespire Peak. to reflect the rules and action options for sidekick warriors, and saved the "monster." My player then added it to her character sheet through extras (I think as "miscellaneous"). Of the three types of sidekicks, wolves can only be Warriors. So I created a homebrew "monster" using the wolf as the template.
